This weekend, Apple released Airport Utility 6.0 for Mac OS X Lion.
Oh, and it looks just like the utility for iOS. That said, once your past the start screen, the utility is basically what it was in version 5:
The firmware update portion of the UI is quite strange, though, mixing the old and new looks:
After playing with it for a bit this morning, I really don’t know why Apple updated Airport Utility. The new UI isn’t consistent, and doesn’t really add that much, except the “map” view at launch. Parts of the more standard UI have been slimmed down, but there’s not much new to use, as far as I can tell.
