Kbase Article of the Week: iCal 1.0: Date in Dock Icon Does Not Update at Midnight ⇢

Apple Support:

When you open iCal, the icon in the Dock reflects the current date. If you leave iCal open overnight, the icon does not update at midnight to reflect the change of date.

This was fixed in iCal 1.0.2.
