Fighting the Good Fight →

Joel Bernosky on The Daily Helmsman’s funding crisis:

It’s important to allow press to be free and ideas to flow freely. It doesn’t matter if the discussion is of a college newspaper or the New York Times. When credibility is challenged, readers and observers will decide to stay, or to move on. Pulling a stunt like the University of Memphis did, only increased the Helmsman’s credibility, for standing its ground, and fighting the good fight; it then made the administration look like fools.
