This is Apple at its best:
The unfinished work of racial justice and equality call us all to account. Things must change, and Apple’s committed to being a force for that change. Today, I’m proud to announce Apple’s Racial Equity and Justice Initiative, with a $100 million commitment. pic.twitter.com/AoYafq2xlp

The guys would be sad that have been replaced by AI, but the results are too funny to be upset. Then, Federico has thoughts about ARM Macs, Myke makes a bet with Stephen and rumors of a new iMac are discussed.
Also, iBooks Author and iTunes U are dead.
My thanks to our sponsors:
David has finally roped Stephen into talking about email. Topics include email services, apps and strategies. Later in the show, they are joined by Rosemary Orchard and Myke Hurley to hear about two specific apps they use every day.

This time on Flashback, Quinn and I look at a weird chapter in Apple history:
The Apple II was a big hit, but before the Macintosh took over, Cupertino shipped a couple of duds, the worst of which was the ill-fated Apple III.
My thanks to our sponsor:
Myke isn’t swayed by the iPad mini faithful, and wonders where Stephen’s Apple Pencil went. Then, thoughts on a possible port-less iPhone and what WWDC could bring for macOS.
When Ticci is off, I get to talk about kernel extensions.
My thanks to our sponsors:
The age of Commercial Crew has arrived, with Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken arriving at the International Space Station safely after riding a Falcon 9 there this weekend. Also: tiny CubeSats can do big things and Tom Cruise may be taking a trip.
This weekend, we saw a new era in space travel begin.
My thanks to our sponsor this week:

My thanks to our sponsors:
Stephen keeps trying to make #GreenGate a thing, Federico has a new friend and Myke has large lungs. Then, an in-depth conversation about what should come next for Shortcuts.

My thanks to our sponsors:
From the early days of iPhoto to now, with Photos.app and iCloud, Apple has offered increasingly-robust photo management tools for its users. This episode, David and Stephen walk through the features and tools you should know about.
This goes hand-in-hand with David’s new Photos Field Guide, which is excellent. If you have someone in your life befuddled by Photos, get them this.
My thanks to our sponsors:
Microsoft was late to the smartphone party, and its first entrance, the Kin, was designed for teens and young adults who didn’t want or need an iPhone, Android phone or Blackberry. The only problem? That audience didn’t really exist.
Oh, Microsoft…
