I enjoyed this video of a modern-day DeLorean owner. Watching his car in motion is simply stunning. From the doors’ crazy hinges to the way the light moves across the stainless steel panels, it’s hard to believe the DMC-12 is as old as it actually is.

Inside the Mac Pro ⇢
I’m usually not one to link to patents, but Apple’s applications for the Mac Pro include some beautiful imagery and this abstract:
Apple’s Patent Abstract: An internal component and external interface arrangement for a cylindrical compact computing system is described that includes at least a structural heat sink having triangular shape disposed within a cylindrical volume defined by a cylindrical housing. A computing engine having a generally triangular shape is described having internal components that include a graphics processing unit (GPU) board, a central processing unit (CPU) board, an input/output (I/O) interface board, an interconnect board, and a power supply unit (PSU).

Evernote 6.0 ships with Yosemite redesign ⇢
After a little bit of a misfire on the Mac App Store earlier today, Evernote 6.0 for Mac is out, with a new look for Yosemite. There are no major new features; just a new, flatter, more transparent UI that looks a lot more at home on OS X Yosemite.
The end of the Pentastar ⇢

The new Tools & Toys ⇢
Shawn Blanc:
The site has thrived for these past 3 years. We have always subscribed to the principle that quality and honesty breed trust and attention. What I want more than anything when it comes to this site’s readership is to have people who trust that we’re not here to rob them of their time.
And today, we are taking things up a few clicks.
While I’ve transitioned to The Sweet Setup, Tools & Toys will always hold a special place in my heart. This redesign and re-focusing are excellent. If T&T hasn’t been in your RSS collection before, you should change that today.

A Look at Apple’s iLife and iWork Software Boxes
While my kids may never believe it, software used to come in boxes. While the iLife and iWork brands are all but gone today, the retail boxes Apple used to package their CDs and DVDs are even more distant of a memory for most.
