That photo is pretty damn good.
Ahem.
The Adobe Flash Player 10.1 release, expected in the first half of 2010, will be the last version to support Macintosh PowerPC-based G3 computers. Adobe will be discontinuing support of PowerPC-based G3 computers and will no longer provide security updates after the Flash Player 10.1 release. This unavailability is due to performance enhancements that cannot be supported on the older PowerPC architecture.
I mean, they can’t get it running smoothly on platforms like Atom. It’s simply brutal on my old Sage iMac.
This is a great part of Apple history that most people don’t even know about.
I’ve been playing with, and while it isn’t as strong as something like Remember the Milk, it’s very clever, and gorgeous.

Trudie Styler, celebrating the launch of her new yoga DVD series, said her kids call her “Wilma Flintstone” because of her technological ineptness. “I’m really not good with my cellphone,” she said. “Videogames, definitely not. I would hope my DVDs would help people get away from all that.”
Her husband, Sting, owns an iPhone, but rarely uses it, he said. “I use my laptop to email. That’s really it. Although Tiger Woods has been calling my cellphone all week,” he joked. “I wonder what he wants?”

The carrier has had trouble keeping up with wireless data usage, leading to dropped connections and long waits for users trying to run programs on their devices. AT&T is upgrading its network to cope, but its head of consumer services, Ralph de la Vega, told investors at a UBS conference in New York that it will also give high-bandwidth users incentives to “reduce or modify their usage.”

Everybody likes Android, Google’s open-source smartphone operating system. But a smartphone operating system isn’t all that satisfying without an actual kick-ass smartphone wrapped around it. Now Android has one: The Droid is a hefty beast, a metal behemoth without the gloss and finish of the iPhone, but you don’t miss it. The Droid’s touchscreen is phenomenally sharp and vivid, it has an actual physical (not great, but good enough) keyboard, and best of all, the Droid is on Verizon’s best-of-breed 3G network. It’s Android’s first credible challenge to the iPhone.
