On the Acer Aspire R7⇢

David Pierce at The Verge:

In a fit of late-night frustration, I picked the R7 up, held it aloft, and shouted at it: “WHAT ARE YOU?!” I still don’t know. It’s too big and cumbersome to be a really useful laptop — even for a 15-inch device it’s pretty enormous. But it’s too small to be an all-in-one, and not powerful enough to really qualify as a desktop or desktop replacement.

Previously, On Arrested Development⇢

I’ve seen every episode of Season 1–3 numerous times, and even I hadn’t caught everything NPR has listed on this guide to the running gags from the show.

My wife and I are halfway through Season 4, and while it’s not as good as the show was at its height, it’s still very good. My hand’s hat’s off to Ron Howard.

Yahoo! will help Tumblr get even better, faster.

RunKeeper Adds Pebble Support⇢

Dieter Bohn:

With the update, Pebble owners will be able to see their pace and mileage on their watch face, along with the ability to start or stop a workout. Unfortunately, you’ll still need to pull out your phone to get things started — launching the app on your phone automatically launches a companion app on the Pebble, at which point the two begin communicating with each other.

It’s a slow start, but apps are finally coming to the smartwatch.
