Ever forgotten to attach some files to your email, although you mentioned them in the text? Or sent an email to a wrong person?
If your answer is ‘yes’, then MailButler is just the right thing for you, because it has your back while you’re working with Apple Mail. It saves you some very common, and very annoying mistakes, and helps you organize and optimize your email correspondence.
MailButler is an add-on, which adds many great productivity boosting features to your Apple Mail. Among them is the ability to schedule, undo, and track emails, convert emails to notes, upload email attachments regardless of size, and more. The developers plan to add new things to this list.
On the last day or two of WWDC, there are lots of blog posts written. Some people talk about the more technical things that they have seen during the week, and some post about how their WWDC experience has made them feel.
This post is the latter.
This. Just all of this.

macOS Sierra was not be the flashiest thing Apple previewed this week. watchOS and iOS saw big updates, and even tvOS promises fewer hassles with things like Single Sign-on and a dark mode.
However, since there’s an old Mac in the corner of this website, and I’ve written several OS X reviews over the past few years, Sierra is what I’m focusing on out of WWDC.
There’s a lot to this release beyond the new old name.
Dan Moren, on the next version of macOS:
No longer burdened by its increasingly dated X-laden moniker, the rebranded macOS got a major addition in the form of Siri, as well as some more minor improvements sprinkled throughout the OS.
But to me, the big message to take away from Monday’s presentation is that Apple is all too happy for the Mac to share features and technologies where it makes sense, but to still let it stand on its own two legs and be the best version of itself.
This shouldn’t be all that surprising, but I think some people were disappointed iMessage didn’t come to Android this week. I wouldn’t rule it out in the future, but I do believe the company sees it as an advantage to the iPhone platform on the whole, and that is still king at Apple.
Yesterday, OS X got renamed macOS to better match its mobile and TV-bound cousins. While I can get behind everything matching, lots of people have been rolling their eyes a little bit at the lowercase m.
The reason is a pretty good one. Before the days of Aqua and the Dock, the Mac operating system was named “Mac OS.” Some may think that name comes from the very beginning of the Macintosh, but it doesn’t.
Live from San Francisco, Myke and I joined Jason and Dan to discuss all four platforms discussed during Apple’s WWDC keynote IN UNDER THIRTY MINUTES.
This week’s Connected is something really special:
The Relay FM family comes together in San Francisco to discuss the WWDC announcements, in front of a live audience.
We were joined by Serenity Caldwell, John Siracusa, Jason Snell and CGP Grey to cover Apple’s busy keynote in front of 150 people. It was truly humbling to meet so many listeners, and to those on the waiting list, we will be increasing capacity next year. Thank you all so much, and I hope you enjoy the episode.
There’s a lot to process from today, but here are some links you should check out:
Apple File System is a new, modern file system for iOS, OS X, tvOS and watchOS. It is optimized for Flash/SSD storage and features strong encryption, copy-on-write metadata, space sharing, cloning for files and directories, snapshots, fast directory sizing, atomic safe-save primitives, and improved file system fundamentals.
(DING.)
If you update to iOS 10 beta, you can remove some built-in apps from the Home screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
When you remove a built-in app from your Home screen, you also remove any related user data and configuration files. This can affect things like related system functions or information on your Apple Watch.
