What should be telling though is that I didn’t know what the repeating task interface looked like for OmniFocus on the iPhone, nor did I know that Things didn’t have one.
I tend to think that people just don’t really need to set that many repeating tasks on their iPhones.
I live by repeating tasks. I use them for bills, server maintenance and more. Having them on my phone is vital, since I don’t spend all day at my computer. The ability to create them on the go is vital to me, and (coupled with OTA sync) makes OmniFocus a more attractive product.
I know many people would probably put repeating tasks as all-day events in iCal, but I am very careful not to mix tasks and events. They are different things.
