My iPhone 4 is less than a year old1, and since I can’t upgrade at the subsidized price for some time, I’ve been pondering purchasing AppleCare for it.
However, when I went to Apple’s online store, I could only locate AppleCare+ for the iPhone 4S.
After chatting with a nice guy named Sean on Apple’s online store support page, I learned that while normal, old-fashioned iPhone AppleCare isn’t available at online for “individual purchases” anymore. However, it can be purchased over at the phone, at 1–800–694–6466
