On September 20, 1989, Jean-Louis Gassée introduced the Macintosh Portable in what has to be one of the more unique keynotes Apple ever held:

In the video, you can see Gassée explain the company’s goals for the system, then he assembles a unit on stage. It’s great, albeit pretty weird.
